Counting your full inventory can often be time-consuming and challenging to do well. But it's necessary to do more than once a month to identify the items that need to be closely managed to maintain good cost control. This is where IntelliCount can help. IntelliCount is a new feature supported by intelligence that can help reduce the number of items you count on your full weekly inventory.

For example, when an IntelliCount is created, Expressway will identify the inventory items that have the potential to have a significant impact on your cost. These items will be marked to be counted, and all other items can be skipped until they are identified or your period ending count.

IntelliCount is designed to support efficient controls, so the better your inventory is managed, the fewer items you need to count.

Prevent early counting by designating a time for your count window to begin
Start time reminders send an automated message to anyone that has not begun their inventory on time
Set finish times to ensure counts are completed with troubleshooting before inventory levels change due to sales

The Daily Status email keeps you updated on key areas of the inventory process. This email is only sent if there are opportunities for improvement or needs to be addressed. For example, a notice will be included in the email if a location's daily count accuracy drops below 70% or an invoice approval is past due. Notifications include:

Past due invoice approvals
An item is at risk of running out
Low daily variance completion score
Low daily variance accuracy score
